starting with the most dramatic picture in my new series. It is based on the books "Eugin Onegin" by Pushkin. The pictures were all made in the Park by Laxenburg in Austria/Europe.

An excellent HDR shot, but the main focus of the image is lost slightly between the strikingly contrasty sky and the ground below. I find my eyes wondering up towards the clouds instead of looking at the subjects. This DOES add nice visual impact to the scene, but some dodging could have been done on the sky to lessen the contrast on the clouds and make the two figures "Pop" into the foreground rather than just being in it.
I love the idea behind the picture, as it as original as photography gets but, as stated before, the deep colour contrasts in the clouds are slightly distracting.
